It’s important that you feel cared for and supported through therapy. I will ensure that your needs are understood and any treatments are explained, so that you can feel confident you are receiving care that is individualised, understandable, and helpful.
Hello, I'm Phoebe Bowen - Provisional Psychologist
Hello, my name is Phoebe Bowen and I am a provisionally registered psychologist, meaning that I receive consultation and guidance from principle psychologist Elizabeth Talbot as part of your care. I have completed both an Undergraduate Psychology Degree (with Honours), and a Master of Professional Psychology.
I am dedicated to providing contemporary evidence-based interventions that are individually suited to each child, adolescent or adult and their unique struggles.
My experience and expertise
I have had experience volunteering in a number of mental health settings, including community based, educational situations, disability, and private practice. I have worked as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner where I gained experience working with a variety of clients and abilities, and recently I completed a 6 month internship at Clinical Therapy where I worked with several clients through a course of treatment for varied, and in some cases complex, mental health issues.
I am enthusiastic about working with people in a non-judgemental, collaborative, and empathetic environment, where people feel safe and supported to address life’s challenges. I believe therapy can be an enriching experience where people are able to grow and create meaningful lives.
